The Business Director, Division of MRI, is responsible for all management, finance, business development and clinical activities of the organization to achieve effective and efficient outcomes and strong financial performance. The individual works directly with management, medical director, clinical staff and a Board of Directors. Assures compliance with standards and regulations of local, state and national regulatory and accrediting agencies. Responsible for development of innovative and creative strategies for business growth and for achieving the goals and objectives developed in collaboration with management, medical director and LVI board. Position requires developing and maintaining the highest standards of care, patient satisfaction and physician relations and assuring the financial integrity of the organization.
Individual is responsible for building and maintaining strong and productive relationships, maximizing quality and efficiency of clinical and administrative activities and directing strategies for growth. Effective communication at all levels is essential.
Lehigh Valley Imaging (LVI) is a joint venture of Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown PA, one of the largest health systems serving northeast Pennsylvania. LVI provides a full range of diagnostic imaging services through its divisions of MRI and Diagnostic Imaging. The MRI division performs over 42,000 studies annually and provides imaging for inhouse and emergency and observation patients at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA. The division has 10 MRIs in multiple locations in the Lehigh Valley and is in the forefront with the latest technology.
Bachelor's degree required; Master's in business or health care administration preferred.
Five to seven years management experience in either a hospital, large medical group practice or related health care environment. Experience in radiology setting is preferred but not required.
Experience in financial management, developing and managing budgets and human resources.
Effective communication, success in conflict resolution and ability to develop consensus.
Ability to develop agendas and work plans and advance work to meet deadlines.
Manage complex projects such as new site development and ability to work with contractors, facilities and construction and local and state agencies while achieving objectives within budget and without delay.
Establish productive and collaborative workplace that values the views and opinions of all staff
Familiarity with standards and regulatory requirements of state, federal and accrediting bodies preferred
Additional Salary Information: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes base salary and bonuses.
