The Director Revenue Analytics is responsible for the development, scaling and management of the revenue analytics functions that enable and expand the pediatric delivery system of Phoenix Children’s. Responsible for providing information technology solutions, data and analysis in useful formats that enable actionable insight to operations, and to facilitate solutions that allow for informed decision making, resulting in improved costs to deliver patient care and overall financial performance. The Director is responsible for establishing and executing a vision for the delivery of information and analytics to key stakeholders that elevates the organizations financial analytic intelligence. The Director will ensure system-wide capabilities to evaluate/understand Phoenix Children’s performance at a system, regional and local level, guiding critical business decisions (expansion of footprint, alternate business models, cost actions, payor/employer access, expansion of departments and sites of care, partnerships, etc.). The Director will work with Information Technology and the Data Governance committee to ensure continued development of a robust data and business intelligence foundation, including data architecture, standardized reporting, tools and advanced decision-support capabilities. Leads Finance in the engagement of proactive, predictive, and creative analytics, with a focus on anticipating customer needs. Provides leadership by leading in key operating and/or system entity meetings and committees, including regular participation in the Data Governance Committee. Develops strong partnerships with senior leadership, physicians, management, and other key business partners to support the business performance improvement and finance objectives to successfully accelerate growth while producing outstanding results for the patients we serve.
Education
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Health Informatics or related field (Required)
Master degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Health Informatics or related field (Preferred)
Experience
Eight (8) years of experience working in analytics, including management of teams. (Required)
Experience with Data Mining, Journey Analytics, Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics & Modeling Knowledge of data infrastructure and architecture. (Required)
Experience and proficiency in preparing and conducting presentations and training programs. (Required)

* Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, trends, issues, risks. * Deep understanding of hospital and clinic operations. * Demonstrated knowledge and experience in healthcare finance, reimbursement methodologies, contracting techniques, budgeting, strategic financial planning and analysis, healthcare terminology, statistical reporting, and healthcare financial systems. * Proficiency with visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau) * Effective communicate skills, verbally and in writing with management, staff and physicians. * Knowledge of data infrastructure and architecture (Required)
