You Will:
As a member of the senior nursing leadershipteam and in collaboration with other clinical and administrative leaders, you will cultivate an environment of continuous learning and professional development, defining new models of nursing care delivery, while ensuring the provision of high quality patient-centered, evidence-based, safe, and cost-effective patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Direct the clinical & operational resources on our Pediatric Inpatient Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center.
- Serve as a member of MSKs Executive Nursing Council, and work collaboratively with various administrators and clinicians to develop successful strategies in a continuously evolving and complex healthcare environment.
- Foster an environment of continuous learning and scientific inquiry.
- Motivate and support career progression and organizational citizenship consistent with the nursing professional practice model and the organizational mission of excellence in Nursing practice.
You Need:
This highly visible role requires a NYS-RN license/registration, BSN, Masters degree (MSN preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of related progressive clinical operational experience. Nursing Specialty Certification (Clinical or Leadership) required. Pediatric oncology experience highly desirable. A demonstrated track record in process improvement/redesign of clinical operations, and excellent communication skills are crucial.
