The Specialist, IT Application will provide application/technical information system support by designing, building, testing, training and troubleshooting assigned applications.
Description of Responsibilities
Builds and maintains assigned applications and interfaces. Meets defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) for application support.
Participates in test script development and execution. Conducts testing efforts for assigned applications.
Coordinates vendors for functional and technical support of applications, interfaces and equipment.
Participates in on-call application support during and outside regular business hours.
Supports execution of ad hoc projects.
Participates in training and development of staff and users.

Associate degree in Computer Science, Nursing or related life science field, or equivalent experience
2 years of work experience in a healthcare setting
Bachelorâ��s degree in Computer Science, Nursing or related life science field
Experience in a hospital health care environment
Experience with Epic is a plus
