As the nation’s leader in pediatric leadership and faculty search, AMN Leadership Solutions has partnered with Connecticut Children’s and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut Health Center in search of a transformational leader to serve as Chief of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine. The successful candidate will hold a faculty appointment at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and lead a highly accomplished Division.
Reporting to the Physician-in-Chief at Connecticut Children’s and the President of the Connecticut Children’s Specialty Group, the new Division Chief will be expected to promote an atmosphere conducive to excellence in faculty development, clinical care, education and academic productivity.

It is the major clinical site for attending physicians, pediatric and pediatric surgical residents, fellows and medical students.
MD (or equivalent) with a robust record of professional leadership roles in an academic institution and/or Medical/Clinical Director experience
Board certification in pediatric pulmonology
Proven ability to develop and build innovative programs
Strong track record and national reputation as a leader in pediatric pulmonary medicine
Demonstrated experience in mentoring and recruiting faculty
