ChristianaCare is searching for a Sr. Project Manager to assist the broad Population Health team to achieve organizational goals by leading and managing key projects and initiatives that impact the Annual Operating Plan. The project manager will work collaboratively with all administrative and clinical leaders across all departments at ChristianaCare, and will play a lead role in the resource allocation and operational improvement of all Population Health function.
Some of the duties will include: evaluation of performance and process improvement methods (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Plan-Do-Check-Act Cycle) and apply those best suited to achieving successful outcomes. In addition, use a range of quality improvement tools and techniques (e.g., Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, Value Stream Mapping, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis) and evaluate the output to successfully redesign processes toward improved performance.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of health care delivery and clinical care with the ability to manage, oversee, and or mentor developing quality improvement professionals. In addition, the candidate must have a high degree of business acumen and emotional intelligence.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in healthcare or relevant field, or completion within 2.5 years
Formal project management training or equivalent with five years of experience in managing senior level complex organizational projects across service lines
Demonstrated sustainment in achievement of desired outcomes and leading transformational organizational projects.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent program completion required; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
Experience in managing and mentoring other healthcare professionals
Experience in successfully leading, facilitating and participating in multi-disciplinary teams using performance improvement tools and methodologies required
Education and/or experience in one or more of the following are desirable: health information technology, performance improvement, outcome analysis, project management, population health
Experience in using electronic medical records, Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio), Tableau and other data collection, analysis and reporting platforms
