The Director, Managed Care National Accounts will be responsible for working with the national health plans on operational issues as well as contract renewals. This person will manage national managed care contracts and negotiate and manage regional contracts to include all Tenet entities focusing on closure of the company�s goals and ensuring the contracts and strategies are consistent with Tenet�s Home Office approach. The Director, Managed Care National Accounts will develop national relationships externally with designated national managed care plans at all levels and will also develop relationships internally to work jointly on operational managed care issues and implement resolutions. This person will also communicate throughout the departments and hospitals and carry consistent messages to the health plans.

Qualifications:
Bachelor�s degree in healthcare management, public health, accounting, finance, business, social or behavioral sciences with a Master�s degree preferred.
5 years previous managed care experience. Minimum of five years of progressive health care management experience required with emphasis in health plan/provider contract negotiations, physician group contracting and strategic planning.
Ability to travel up to 25%. We will run a MVR on final candidate.
Ideal candidate will have demonstrated capacity for results-oriented operational skills in managed care environment.
