The primary purpose of this position is to enhance the reporting and analytical capabilities of the FP&A Department and expand its support of executive management functions. This position will support FP&A processes with a high degree of focus on the development of the 5-year consolidated financial plan, annual operating budget and quarterly forecasts (e.g., income statement, cash flow and capital). Position will also be involved in the preparation and distribution of our various monthly/quarterly management reporting packages.
Update, enhance, and maintain the 5-year consolidated financial model. Participate in the coordination of gathering corporate, operations, and subsidiary forecasts and assumptions to be considered in the budget and quarterly forecast process.
Update, maintain, and review annual income statement, cash flow, and capital investment budgets and forecasts. Prepare forecast calculations pertaining to working capital, investments, divestitures, and other key cash related activities.
Create, review, analyze, and distribute standard reports and presentations that will be distributed to executive leadership and Board of Directors including borrowing base, BOD report, monthly flash slides, quarterly financial highlights, quarterly significant accounting judgments.
Research and explain actual variances to budget and forecast. Analyze actual cash flow trends/anomalies and work with business partners to propose updated assumptions to the forecast.
Work with Treasury on coordinating liquidity forecasting including debt and leverage management.
Team participation in various ad hoc projects involving research, reporting and presentations.
Qualifications:
Required:
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to research actuals and ascertain the impact of financial trends
Strong Excel modeling skills and ability to manage elaborate workbooks with multiple interconnected files
Ability to manage complex budgeting and forecasting processes
Strong problem-solving skills even when face with issues outside of knowledge base and skill sets
Attention to detail and presentation with ability to review own work and publish documents with limited errors
Strong work ethic
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to verbally articulate well alongside solid written communication
Must be able to demonstrate capability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Team Player � willing to help in every way possible and show flexibility to expand responsibilities as the role evolves
A bachelor or master�s degree in finance or accounting
Preferred:
MBA and/or CPA
3-5 years of experience in healthcare
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Background in cash management or forecasting is preferred
Knowledge of HFM a strong plus
