This is a Desktop Customer Support position at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. The purpose is to support, replace, deploy desktops, laptops, printers, and all other computer related hardware.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Provide Support for computers and attached peripherals, including fundamental network troubleshooting on computers and wall jacks
Documents issues/calls and tracks resolution to completion and identifies system resolutions
Assists in asset management for IS hardware, software and equipment
Assists in the development of specific work plans and due dates with general supervision
Provide Support for clinical application installation on computers and General troubleshooting of application with help from clinical specialist
Works closely with the IS Facility Coordinator, facility leadership and IS project managers to assist in coordinating IS Related activities and projects at each facility
Extended call coverage as needed
Qualifications:
Window XP, 7, 10
All Microsoft Office applications
Advanced computer/monitor hardware knowledge
Basic networking
Strong analytical skills
Familiar with industry standard network equipment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of Active Directory basic functionality
Understanding of Group policies and how they affect local workstations
Knowledge on printer setup locally as well as network printer setup
Familiar with industry standard networking equipment
Telephones including Cellular, Spectralink configuration and support preferred
Understanding of HIPAA and security protocols to protect PHI preferred
Associate�s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience. Bachelor�s Degree in related field preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in information systems, telecommunications or network management required
Experience in health care environment preferred
Prior call center experience, knowledge of ITIL and project management preferred
A+, MCP, Network + certification preferred
Must be able to lift and move computers and peripherals, including but not limited to: Computers, Printers, Carts, Monitors and other hardware. Minimum of 25 lbs. on regular basis.
Up to 25% travel, as travel is required, we will run a MVR on the final candidate.
