Manage the Audiology Department and provide the full spectrum of clinical services to patients. Expand and provide systematic education and expertise in the use of telehealth within audiology and application models across multiple NSHC disciplines.

Essential Functions:
Perform leadership functions including selection, scheduling, training, performance management and discipline; Instill passion in assigned staff for NSHC’s mission, vision, and values, paying particular attention to the maintenance of a safe and productive work environment
Demonstrate personal initiative and accountability while overseeing the department's budget; Forecast needs, allocate resources and/or take corrective action as necessary
Provide support to the Vice President in all research-related activities, including but not limited to presenting to the Research and Ethics Review Board and assisting relevant departments in research studies and publications and managing telehealth / audiology related grants.
Maintain quality and efficiency standards in the department, make recomendations for improvement, and implement and report results
Utilize clinical process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation to assess the patient's condition and needs, set outcomes, implement appropriate actions and evaluate the patient's process while overseeing staff to ensure continuity of care
Analyze and disseminate data regarding standards of practice, patient care and trends, etc. within the department of Audiology and across the Corporation. Identify necessary actions to respond to data and evaluate results to take corrective action when necesssary
Participate in activities that promote audiological health and loss prevention and educate patients and families regarding audiological wellness
Manage telehealth program and support other departments in application and/or training of program
Expand the development and advancement of telehealth in the region, including but not limited to collaboration with multiple institutions.
Coordinate research-related activities with oversight by the Research and Ethics Review Board.
Assist departments in conducting clinical research studies and dissemination of findings significant to the patient population.
Manage and organize grant-related activities and research, as well as write and support grants submissions for the institution.
Perform other duties as assigned.
