The Sr. Program Manager for High-level disinfection (HLD) will oversee and manage the electronic tracking system for 60 + sites performing HLD including Adult, Peds and Regional. Will help develop, implement, evaluate, revise the HLD program for onboarding of staff, in-service training, workshops, and continuing education. Performs a range of clinical, consultative and educational activities within both the VUMC and Regional sites.
Oversees and manages the electronic tracking system (Censitrac): users, data entry, implementation of new sites, etc.
Assists with training and onboarding of new hires requiring training for electronic tracking system.
Develops and implements interactive, scenario-based learning programs for sterile processing related responsibilities
Revises and updates on-line course work, competencies, etc. based on departmental changes that are in line with new regulations.
Conducts and incorporates an annual needs assessment for competency of staff. Assesses the competency and evaluates the proficiency of the of staff performing high-level disinfection practices.
Help facilitate the creation of new policies, protocols, or procedures as demanded by new rules, guidelines, standards, or make recommendations for needs.
Assist with development and implementation of scenario-based learning programs for high level disinfection and instrument reprocessing
In collaboration with education, revises and updates on-line course work, competencies, etc. based on departmental changes that are in line with new regulations
This position would require some travel (to perform onsite assessments, training, etc. at our ambulatory clinics), and does have the opportunity to work from home on occasion. Otherwise, normal daytime business hours.

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years relevant experience
Experience with HLD or sterilization and inventory management systems is a plus
