Reporting to the System Director, Clinical Education and Professional Deveopment, the Manager, SimLab is responsible for oversight and implementation of PIH Health simulation lab programs including fiscal operation systems that support it. Coordinates the operational and clinical education programs in the Simulation Lab/Mobile Unit and assists with development of educational programs for nurses, physicians, and others clinicians, integrating quality indicators based on hospital and national standards. Communicates and exemplifies vision for change for interprofessional teams and practice groups including coaching, mentoring, direction, supporting and teaching.

Experience with developing scenarios for simulator operation and training
Master’s degree in simulation, adult education, or healthcare related field
Minimum of eight (8) years of medical, emergency, or critical care experience (NP, PA, RN, RRT, Paramedic)
Experience with Laerdal, Meti and Gaumard simulation equipment.
Preferred:
Medical simulation experience strongly preferred.
Experience in course development and education methodology
Current California Registered Nurse license renewable every two (2) years in good standing.
