Position Summary

Responsibilities

• You will administer management functions within the provisions of MultiCare policies and standards and federal, state and local regulations
• You will ensure department operations are conducted in a manner consistent with Joint Commission, Department of Health, and MultiCare system standards
• You will ensure floor care and other project work is performed as scheduled
• You will assist in performing quality improvement initiatives, as requested

Requirements

• Associates degree or two years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered
• Three (3) years of experience in environmental services or acute care related support departments required
• Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity required
• Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) and/or Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certifications or trainer designation required within 6 months of placement in job
• Experience working in a union environment
