JOB SUMMARY: The Director, Ambulatory Nursing (DOAN) of the Ambulatory Surgical Center is, in collaboration with the Medical Director and Director of Operations, accountable for the operational, human resource, quality, and financial management of the Ambulatory Surgical Center at LBJ (ASC). The DOAN works with the Administrative Director and the triad leadership team to translate pavilion and department strategic plans and policies into a unit plan suitable to the unique operational needs of the ASC.
