SUMMARY 

Responsible for consulting with clients on a wide range of risk management issues including loss prevention, reduction and patient safety matters and claim management and reporting processes and procedures. Participates in new revenue production for Healthcare clients.  Acts as client advocate in casualty insurance claims.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

•    Review insurance policy wording and revise to seek language favorable to policyholder.

•    Analyze insurance coverage issues and advocate client’s coverage position with insurance carriers.

•    Conducts new business development activities with producers and account executives.

•    Act as an Account Executive over various accounts.

•    Acts as client advocate in complex corporate risk liability claims.

•    Coordinates other claims with existing company claims resources.

•    Performs production and resource activities with Producers and Account Executives.

•    Expands partner relationships to include other Corporate Risk opportunities.

•    Provides risk management advice and contractual review for insurance and risk management purposes for company clients and prospects.

•    Reviews and analyze risk issues associated with new or changing operations.

•    Oversees the publication of Alliant communication materials including newsletters and white papers.

•    Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).

•    Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.

•    Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS 
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Juris Doctorate

Ten (10) or more years medical malpractice litigation, healthcare litigation, insurance coverage analysis or litigation or other relevant claims management experience

Registered nurse experience

Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal

Valid Insurance License
