Manager Inpatient Services

In addition to providing direct patient care to optimize a patient's ability to perform activities of daily living, the manager supervises the activities of the Physical, Occupational and/or Speech Therapists and Audiologists (as appropriate) ensuring that all services are provided in accordance with hospital and outside regulatory agency standards. They assist with policy and procedure development, long and short term planning and performance improvement, and resource and fiscal management. They provide leadership to the staff, promote clinical competence and are responsible for overseeing and providing education opportunities to the department.
