Ultimate Medical Academy invites nominations and applications for the position of President.
The President is the Executive leader of Ultimate Medical Academy and its Affiliates (UMA), a non-profit academic institution dedicated to advancing student success through high-quality training in Allied Healthcare and other technical fields. The President provides vision, strategic leadership, and operational oversight to ensure the institution fulfills its mission of preparing students for meaningful careers and strengthening the communities it serves.
This role requires a forward-thinking, learner-centered, and mission-driven leader who can balance academic excellence with financial sustainability, significantly expand employer and community partnerships, interact with Legislative and Regulatory agencies and anticipate evolving workforce needs in healthcare and technical education.
UMA is a nonprofit healthcare educational institution offering allied healthcare education online or via blended programs in Clearwater, FL. Institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, UMA currently enrolls over 27,000 students in diploma, training, and associate degree programs. UMA has been offering high quality education for over 30 years and has helped its 100,000 alumni launch healthcare careers across the United States.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the President is responsible for the overall leadership of UMA, managing a budget of $475M and a workforce numbering 3,300 employees. The best candidates will have significant leadership experience in higher education, workforce training, healthcare, or nonprofit management as well as proven experience leading organizational transformation and a strong ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
This is a full-time position that will be performed on site in Tampa, FL, with travel required to various campuses. A competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, with a generous benefits package, will be offered.
