The Medical Director for Oncology/Hematology at Naples Comprehensive Health is a physician leader responsible for the strategic direction and clinical oversight of the cancer program, focusing on providing high-quality, patient-centered care. In addition to maintaining a robust clinical practice, key duties include leading multidisciplinary teams, developing innovative treatment protocols, fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards (like CoC accreditation), and promoting the program's growth through collaboration with all stakeholders. The role involves medical oversight, professional development for physicians, and staying current on the latest advancements in the field.

The Medical Director will:

• Lead the design and execution of a destination oncology program
• Build a high?performing multidisciplinary oncology enterprise
• Recruit and develop top clinical talent
• Design and implement clinical pathways, navigation, and supportive care models
• Drive quality, safety, and accreditation (including CoC readiness)
• Expand access to clinical trials via Northwestern Medicine partnership
• Collaborate with philanthropic partners to catalyze program growth
• Serve as the senior clinical ambassador to patients, providers, donors, and the community

This leader will operate within a dyad administrative partnership and will influence enterprise?wide oncology strategy, growth, operations, and academic integration.
