Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Director of Donor Relations manages a highly effective Donor Relations team and serves as a key leadership team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The Director of Donor Relations develops, implements, manages and assesses a comprehensive donor relations plan to support the strategic growth of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The scope of work includes donor relations, stewardship, special events, recognition and related communications.
The scope of work includes donor engagement, stewardship, special events, recognition, select communications, gift compliance and monitoring key donor metrics for the business priorities of the Foundation.

Education
Bachelor’s degree (Required)
Experience
Seven (7) years of cumulative development experience, preferably in the areas of Donor Relations, Stewardship, and Communications. (Required)
Proficient in the strategic use of data and analytics to guide planning and implementation. (Required)
Demonstrated success in a healthcare environment - clinical or academic medicine. (Preferred)
